Sister Angela Daniels was called Home Friday, September 6, 2019, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. Seeing her sweet loving eyes getting weary, GOD reached down from Heaven to earth and whispered, “Come on MY child”; so she reached up and took HIS Hand.
She was born to the late Ruby Reynolds Hopson and the late Leroy Hopson Sr. on May 20, 1950. She was a native of Seminole County, Georgia.
Angela received her education in Seminole County, graduating Seminole County Training School in the Class of 1968. She also retired as an Elementary School Secretary from Seminole County after more than 30 years.
Sister Daniels was a virtuous woman. She put GOD first in everything. She was a strong, loving, peaceful and attentive mother. She had a very sweet spirit which graced the lives of others and blessed them with a loving smile.
She was also preceded in death by her brother Herman Hopson Sr. (Texas) and her sisters Deborah Virgin (Jakin, Georgia) and Geneva Smith (Donalsonville, Georgia).
She leaves to cherish loving memories of her life a stepmother, Lorene Hopson; one daughter, Michelle Moore of Donalsonville, Georgia; two sons, Derrick Moore of Houston, Texas, and Ronald Moore of Donalsonville, Georgia: five grandchildren: Ciera Scott of Toney, Alabama, Carla Johnson (Christopher) of Madison, Alabama, Akira Moore,,Kieyanna Moore, both of Newport News, Virginia, and Angel Knight of Toney, Alabama; three great grandchildren: Jayden Scott, Shawn Johnson, and Kylan Biggs; two sisters, Dianne Daniels of Donalsonville, Georgia, and Lizzie Holliday (Tony) of Orlando, Florida; three brothers: Leroy Hopson Jr. (Harriett), Daron Hopson Sr. (Marilyn), both of Houston, Texas, and Carlis Hopson of Donalsonville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, classmates, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
