For GOD so loved the world that on November 16, 1946, HE sent one of HIS brightest stars to bless all Delores Ann Smallwood would encounter. While on earth HE assigned the late Mamie Ray, Rev. Paul Cainion and Verdine Cainion (Bonus Mom) to provide, protect and profess love and knowledge of CHRIST.
Delores was educated and degreed from Seminole County High School and Indian River Community College (Nursing Program). She worked at the Stuart Convalescent Home and the Martin County School System until she retired.
With life being so full of love, laughter–blessed beyond measure, on July 9, 2019, GOD decided to realign HIS stars and placed one of HIS brightest stars back in her rightful place above the clouds.
Left to cherish a life full of love and memories with pride and joys of her life are her husband James Smallwood Sr.; children Patrick Barber (Sharon), James Smallwood Jr., Latrez Smallwood, Mamie Smallwood, Shayla Smallwood, Tina Butler (B.J.) and Amari Butler; grandchildren JaCarri, James III, Renee, Jasmine, Kennedy, Avery, Fredrick, Jessica, Briton, Milan and Royce; siblings Eddie Ray (Mary), Franceska Osby (Charles), Andrea Reed (Thomas), Sheila Silas, Tammie Cainion, James Cainion and Paul Cainion Jr.; godmother Marion Walker; along with a host of great grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and grateful friends.
