JANICE BRYANT KING of Donalsonville, Georgia, went Home to be with THE LORD on Thursday, June 20, 2019. She was born September 19, 1963, in Donalsonville to the late Ada L. Smith and the late Ed Linsey.
She accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church. Janice was a 1981 Graduate of Seminole County High School. She worked several jobs, but her job at the time of her demise was as a Custodian for Seminole County Board of Education.
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Thomas Black; grandparents, M. L. and Irene Smith; one grandson, Kemonie Wes Bryant; three sisters: Cathy Glenn, Regina Smith, and Chiquita Smith; one brother, Calvin Smith; six aunts: Betsy Biven, Betty Jean Smith, Betty Joe Smith, Mildred Smith, Annie Lee Wesley, and Christine Smith; and three uncles: Charlie Smith, Billy Reed, and Gary Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted husband, Kelvin King; one daughter, Daneashia Williams (L. B.) of Donalsonville; three sons: Stevie Bryant Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Najee King of Donalsonville, and Tercel Murrell (Toya) of Atlanta, GA; one adopted son, Brian Henry of Donalsonville; eight grandchildren; one sister, Amy Barkley Wilson (Jimmy) of Dothan, AL; two brothers, Tony Smith and Eric Smith, both of Donalsonville; mother-in-law, Diann Kelley (Eugene) of Donalsonville; father-in-law, Willie King of Donalsonville; three sisters-in-law: Jaunwanta King of Donalsonville, Sherri Laster of Bainbridge, GA, and Dawn Ever of Doulgasville, GA; one brother-in-law, Derrick Jones of Bainbridge, GA; three aunts: Marene Smith, Helen Smith, and Evelyn Smith, all of Donalsonville; three best friends: Chrisandra Williams, Shantoria Cox, and Lucille Martin; and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
