Jerry Jack Pelham, better known as "Jack", was born on September 12, 1950, in Donalsonville, Georgia. He was the youngest of two children born to the late Mr. Levi Pelham Jr. and Mrs. Claytee Brooks Pelham. His grandmother was the late Mrs. Lula Murphy Brooks.
Jack accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Donalsonville. He attended Seminole County Training School and went on to complete his education at a trade school in Tuskegee, Alabama. From there he served in the United States Army for nineteen years. After completing his service duties, he made San Francisco, California, his residence for thirty-plus years until he was called to be absent from the body to be present with THE LORD on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at a Veteran Affairs home for veterans.
Jerry Jack Pelham leaves to cherish his memories one brother, James Pelham of Donalsonville, GA; two nieces, Sonya Pelham Lovett of Iselin, NJ, and Stacy Pelham Hale (Dexter) of Somerset, NJ; four great nieces: Sharde Fajone Fowler, Simone Hale, both of Somerset, NJ, Janada Lovett, and Jelisa Lovett, both of Iselin, NJ; one great nephew, Samir Hale of Somerset, NJ; one great-great nephew, Noah Mitchell of Iselin, NJ; cousins: Abdul Nadir of Bloomfield, NJ, Rashida Najee Ullah, and Mamie Warren, both of Newark, NJ; and a host of other relatives and friends.
