Alonzo Donnell Myrick, the son of the late Willie B. G. Myrick and Louise McBride Myrick, was born December 14, 1951, in Iron City, Seminole County, Georgia. He confessed CHRIST at an early age at the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church of Iron City under the pastorate of Reverend I. C. Conyers of Bainbridge, Georgia.
Alonzo departed his earthly life on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. In addition to his parents, his older brother Willie Albert Myrick preceded him in death.
Alonzo leaves to cherish his loving wife of forty-six years, Judine S. Myrick of Iron City, GA; his two daughters, Nikisha Martin (Donald) and Evy Myrick, both of Donalsonville, GA; two sons, Alonzo Myrick Jr. (Sherita) of Colquitt, GA, and Dewayne Taylor (Eneesha) of Atlanta, GA; a devoted son, Patrick Myrick of Iron City; two very special granddaughters, Deandra McKinney and Deonna Martin; a very special grandson, Jamarion Myrick of Brinson, GA; twenty additional grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He leaves to mourn five sisters: Larcie Thomas of Camilla, GA, Bertha Smith (Ed) of Hollywood, FL, Eva Mae Blakes of Donalsonville, GA, Deloris McGriff (Treval) of Manalapan, NJ, and Shirley Myrick of Ft. Lauderdale of FL; three brothers: Le Marvin Shuler, James Moore, and John Moore, all of Donalsonville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
