Annie L. Green was born in Seminole County, Georgia, on October 6, 1956, to Mr. Willie J. Johnson and Mrs. Odessa Buggs Johnson. She was the third sibling of seven children with two brothers, Zollie Johnson and Randy Johnson, and one sister, Willie Mae Wooden, preceding her in death.
Annie was affectionately called “Ann” and “Lou Baby” by family members and friends. She was a daddy’s girl and a caring and helpful person to others.
Annie was united in Holy Matrimony to Eddie B. Green on December 9, 1976. They conceived one child, a son Willie.
Ann departed her earthly life on Friday, July 2, 2021, at her home in Iron City, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Eddie Green of Iron City, GA; devoted son, Willie Green of Iron City, GA; stepson, Eddie Kimble of Arlington, GA; loving and caring mother, Odessa Johnson of Bainbridge, GA; three sisters: Perry Chandler (Lawson), Laddie Bouie, and Dorothy Johnson, all of Bainbridge, GA; wonderful two nieces, Haley Chandler and Emma Wooden; two sisters-in-law, Kathereen Johnson and Linda Johnson, both of Iron City, GA; brother-in-law, Eddie Wayne Johnson of Iron City, GA; and special friend, Ceita B. Footman of Bainbridge, GA. She also leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, additional nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
