Arletha P. Gonzalez was born May 30, 1938 in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Verna Porter and the late Clemmie Porter. Arletha followed in the faith of her mother, a Christian. Arletha attended and graduated from the Seminole County School System. Her chosen area of occupation was nursing, serving as a nurse's aide at the Seminole Manor Nursing Home.

A Time To Laugh

Seeking destiny, Arletha moved north, settling in Newark, New Jersey. Growing stronger in spirit and in love she eventually met and married Anibal R. Gonzalez who preceded her in death. Arletha birthed seven children who loved her through her journey of life, leaving to cherish many loving memories.

A Time To Rest

Arletha Gonzalez transitioned into a new dimension of life, answering the clarion call on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, returning to her heavenly home.

The gift of her season leaves loving memories to cherish and remain with her family and friends: mother, Verna Porter; daughters, Anita McClain, Evita Gonzalez-McMullan, Tomasa Gonzalez, Larraine Gonzalez, Lakosha Gonzalez; sons, Michael Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez; grandchildren, Tyhissha, Tyjuan (preceded her in death), Ebony, Chico, Daryll, Romero, Lakier, Charmecia, Tiffany, Darius, Christian, Tyree, Valenceia, Charmenique, Precious, Nijhaca, Michael Jr., Somiya, Marcelis, Micah, and Tamara. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of great- grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
