Betty Jo Williams, the daughter of Ms. Mildred Maurine Scott and Mr. Marseal Williams, was born May 14, 1963 in Donalsonville, Georgia. In accordance with our HEAVENLY FATHER’S Plan, on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, she departed her fulfilled earthly life.
She confessed CHRIST as her SAVIOR at an early age. Sister Williams was a member of Lighthouse Evangelical Mission Church of Iron City, Georgia.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Annie L. Crosling.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory four devoted and loving children: Edrick Davis of Iron City, Georgia, Shavonta Polock (Justin) of Greenwood, Florida, Latrivia Christmas of Dothan, Alabama, and Bobby Christmas of Bainbridge, Georgia; eight devoted grandchildren: Alondra Davis, Edricus Davis, both of Donalsonville, Georgia, Zhailand Christmas, Kharman, Christmas, Landen Christmas, all of Dothan, Alabama, Iyanna Kyles, Jevonta Christmas, and Brayden Christmas, all of Bainbridge, Georgia; eleven siblings–six sisters: Mildren Bowden of Newark, New Jersey, Judine Myrick, Barbara Williams, Patricia Baker (Willie), Margaret Scott, all of Iron City, and Dianne Bryant of Donalsonville, Georgia; and five brothers: her twin Bobby Jo Williams (Zerry), Earlie J. Richardson (Iretha), Morris “Bo” Williams (Willie Jean), Minister Napoleon Williams (Catherine), all of Donalsonville, Georgia, and Larry “BeBe” Williams of Iron City; three special friends: Robin Johnson, Theresa Hale-Cook (Chris), both of Iron City, and Brenda Fudge of Donalsonville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
