Life and Time

Carlene Kimble Harris, 85, was born September 12, 1936, in Colquitt, Georgia, to the late James “Gene” Kimble and late Daisy Kimble.  On June 21, 2022, the Angels of THE LORD lingered near and comforted her as she bid this earthly home farewell.

She was a strong woman with resilience and tenacity.  Carlene was a hard worker, great provider and was very dedicated to her family.

Though her physical body will no longer be present, her spirit will live on in those who loved her.  She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Harris; sons Rickey, Randy and Al J. Harris; and daughter Dianne Harris.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her daughters:  Joann Harris of Tallahassee, FL, Brenda Jackson of Iron City, GA, Lillian Harris of Donalsonville, GA, and Carolyn Harris of Iron City, GA; a special grandson, Christopher Harris; grandchildren:  Tracey Hopkins, Frederick Harris, Erica Harris, Geno Barber, Alisa Harris, Jessica Jackson, Zacchaeus Harris, Tyrell Jackson, Tyron Jackson, and Aaliyah Jackson; and a host of great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
