CARLTON THOMAS, the son Mr. Coach and Mrs. Annie Thomas II, was born September 23, 1954, in Donalsonville, Georgia.
Carlton confessed CHRIST at Temple Memorial Baptist Church in High Point, North Carolina, where he was a member of the Hospitality Committee and Male Choir.
Carlton attended the public school system in Miller County (Colquitt, Georgia). He later attended the schools of Seminole County (Donalsonville, Georgia). Carlton loved the Dallas Cowboys. He attended his first NFL game of them against the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, North Carolina, in which the Cowboys won, making Carlton so happy. He really LOVED Michael Jackson and the gospel group The Williams Brothers.
Carlton departed his earthly life on May 30, 2025, in High Point, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by six sisters: Verdell Thomas, Mildred Black, Veria Manley, Elnora Tolbert, Eloise Tisdale, and Shirley Thomas; and two brothers, Coach Thomas III and Larry Thomas.
Carlton is survived by three sisters: Cathelene Register of Donalsonville, GA, Evelyn Thomas, and Marie Thomas Reynolds (Roger), both of High Point, NC; two brothers, Luredell Thomas of Fort Worth, TX, and Tony Thomas of Orange Park, FL; one sister-in-law, Regina Thomas of Falls Church, VA; two brothers-in-law, Charles Tolbert of Jakin, GA, and Richard Tisdale of Toms River, NJ; two special nieces, Taschika Reynolds of King George, VA, and Makenna Best of Winston Salem, NC; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
