Carolyn Emmons was born on August 24, 1979 to Cora Thomas and the late Ray Emmons. Carolyn loved everyone and helped everyone. She was loved by many. She enjoyed cleaning houses and having fun.
Carolyn slipped into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 9:15 am at her Uncle Charlie’s residence in Donalsonville, Georgia, where she resided. She is at peace and with GOD now–no more pain: free at last of all sickness. She was preceded in death by her father, daughter Taneisha Hill, brother Jeff Thomas, her grandmothers Beulah Guilford and Mable Emmons, and her grandfathers Eugene Thomas and Lucious Emmons.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Angela Carter (Eric) of Gwinnett County, Georgia, and Tiffany Peterson of Donalsonville, Georgia; two sons, Austin Smith of Gwinnett County, Georgia, and Jeremy Barber of Donalsonville; a loving mother, Cora Thomas of Donalsonville; two sisters, Aeisha Davis and Denisha Davis (Tony), all of Donalsonville; six brothers: Kenny Thomas (Angie) of Marianna, Florida, Walter Thomas, Freddie Thomas, both of Donalsonville, Germaine Davis (Bailey) of Dothan, Alabama, and Ray Thomas of Savannah, Georgia; her loving uncle who took great care of her until her last breath, Charlie Thomas of Donalsonville; a special cousin, Tarence Ferguson of Donalsonville; a very special friend who was just like a mother, Essie Evans of Donalsonville; and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
