Charles Edward Johnson

Charles Edward Johnson was born October 19, 1951, in Fowlstown, Georgia.  His parents were King Alfonso Johnson and Trudie Mae Preston.

Charles Edward worked was a very hard worker, working several jobs before his departure.  He was an employee of the City of Cairo, Georgia, and the City of Bainbridge, Georgia, for many years.  He also worked in pulpwood. 

Charles Johnson departed this earthly life on Thursday, February 4, 2021.  His departure is a deep and personal loss to his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Marie Butler and Alma Johnson, and two brothers James Johnson and Chester Porter.

Charles Edward Johnson leaves to cherish precious memories his daughter, Sophia Smith; three sisters: Shirley Johnson Choice, Mary Johnson Smith, and Catherine Johnson Foster; special friend, Patricia Robinson; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
