Charlie Paul Spencer was born July 22, 1949, in Bainbridge, Decatur County, Georgia. His parents were Mr. Waymon Spencer, Sr. and Mrs. Ezell Spencer.
He attended school in Seminole County, Georgia. Charlie Paul later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he worked numerous years for U. S. Concrete Pipe Company of Florida. Several years ago, he moved to Palatka, Florida, where he resided until his death.
He departed his earthly life on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Suwannee Health and Rehabilitation Center in Live Oak, Florida. He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Gracie Nelson, and his brothers Waymon Spencer Jr. and Andrew Spencer.
Charlie Paul leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Felicia Odom of Valdosta, Georgia; grandson, Davonte Odom of Valdosta, Georgia; two granddaughters: Arrai Dempsey and Keonta Dempsey, both of Valdosta, Georgia; eight great grandkids; three sisters: Georgia Young of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Josephine Biggles of Brinson, Georgia, and Annie Pearl Spencer of Donalsonville, Georgia; one brother, Willie Spencer of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a host of nieces and nephews; along with a close friend, Frank Bates.
