Mr. D. C. Saffold lived a very peaceful and honest life. He was always very quiet and kept peace. Mr. Saffold will be truly missed, especially his infectious laugh and smile.
He accepted CHRIST as his SAVIOR and attended Union Grove High School. D. C.’s younger years were spent working on farms. He later worked for Winn-Dixie, then Coca-Cola until his health failed.
Mr. Saffold battled a lengthy illness but put up a good fight. Now he has finished his race. His mother Versie Scott Saffold, his father Dennis Saffold, two sisters, and six brothers preceded him in death.
D. C. leaves to mourn one brother, King S. Saffold of Tampa, Florida; one sister, Essie Saffold Bryant (Wayne) of Orlando, Florida; and a host of caring nieces, nephews and cousins who were greatly concerned about him.
We all loved you, D. C., for being such a peacemaker and for the memories of babysitting your sister Essie B. Thank YOU JESUS!!
