Daisy L. King was born on November 9, 1947 in Donalsonville GA to the late Johnny B. and Versie D. Crawford. She was one of 10 siblings. She received her education from Seminole Training School in Donalsonville GA, where she graduated in 1965. She continued her education at Sarasota Vocational School where she obtained a certificate in bookkeeping. For 20 years, she worked for Klockner Machinery and Packaging in the accounting department before retiring as an Administrative Assistant with Nationwide Insurance.
Daisy was an advent bowler, involved in league and tournament bowling for over 30 years. She was an avid sports fan who loved football and basketball, and supported her sons who played and coached sports and enjoyed watching college and professional teams play.
Daisy was the proud mother of three sons and a active member of Shinning Light Church, Sarasota, FL where she served as a Greeter, served in the food pantry and served as a Mighty Prayer Warrior.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, sister, Elease Morris and brother, Ronnie Crawford.
She was called home to labor to reward on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Leroy Ryals Jr. (Keisha) of Watkinsville, GA, Brian Ryals of Bradenton, FL and Michael King of Green Acres, FL; sisters Emma Nelson of Maimi, Fl, Delores Harvey and Verna Jean Bryant (Melvin) Donalsonville Ga, Mickey Crawford of Miami, FL. And Danny Battle (Rhonda) of Kissimmee, Fl; Grandchildren, TaQuesha Ryals, Talya King, Elease Ryals and Aliyah Ryals; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives an friends.
