Deborah Jones Towles was born in Donalsonville, Georgia, on September 6, 1959, to Betty Jean Jones and Marion Jones, Sr. She peacefully departed from her earthly walk on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
Deborah accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Deborah received her primary and secondary education in the Seminole County School System and was a member of the 1977 Graduating Class of Seminole County High School. Soon after graduation, she moved to Reading, Pennsylvania, where she lived for many years. Deborah returned home and started working for Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville; she also worked for Georgia Industries for the Blind in Bainbridge, Georgia.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, as well as two sisters, Joyce Ann and Beverly Ann Smith, and three brothers: Clinton Jones, Melvin Jones, and Marion Jones Jr.
Deborah leaves to cherish her precious memories her sisters: Mary Jane Smith, Shelia Smith, Maggie Chrispen (James), all of Donalsonville, Georgia, and Dianne Chrispen (Eric) of McDonough, Georgia; brothers: William Jones (Angela) of Colquitt, Georgia, Thomas Smith (Michelle) of Donalsonville, and Johnny Jones of Rome, Georgia; godson, Tyrec Glenn; a special sister-in-law/friend, Angela Jones of Donalsonville; three aunts: Marene Smith, Everlyn Smith, and Helen Smith, all of Donalsonville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends; and special friends: Debra Collins, Doris Chrispen, Dorothy Jean Daniels, and Michael Saffold, all of Donalsonville, Georgia.
