Delores C. Harvey was born November 19, 1951, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Johnny B. and Versie D. Crawford. She was one of ten siblings.
She received her early education from Seminole Training School in Donalsonville, Georiga where she graduated in 1969. Delores was a factory worker at Donnie Mills Sewing Factory and then Shaw Industries, where she retired from twenty years of service.
Not only was Delores a hard worker, a true friend and a loving mother, she was a laborer for CHRIST. She was a longtime member of Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: sister, Elease Morris; brother, Ronnie Crawford, and sister, Daisy King.
Delores gained her Angelic Wings on Saturday, January 4, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memories an ex-husband and father of her children, Jimmy Harvey; four devoted and loving children: Stephanie Harvey of Donalsonville, GA, Cassandra Harvey, Erik Harvey, and Elisa Brown (Bennie), all of Bainbridge, GA; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Emma Nelson of Miami, FL, and Verna J. Bryant (Melvin) of Donalsonville, GA; four brothers: Eudarn Crawford of Colquitt, GA, Dennis Crawford of Donalsonville, GA, Mickey Crawford of Miami, FL, and Danny Battle (Rhonda) of Kissimmee, FL; nieces; nephews; and a host of very special friends who lent so much love and support during her difficult times.
