Mr. Eddie J. Henry Jr.  was born on June 22, 1957, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to the late Eddie J Henry Sr. and Bertha Mae Hutchins Henry.  He gave his life to CHRIST at an early age and joined Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church.  Eddie Jr. attended Seminole County High School, graduating with the Class of 1975.

Eddie was employed with Amoco Fabrics of Bainbridge, Georgia.  He later served in the United States Army for ten years, attaining the rank of E5 Sergeant.  He was also employed by Ms. Betty Mims of Donalsonville, Georgia. In addition, he worked as a cook/handyman at Quick and Handy, where he was loved by many.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Ivey Moore, and to this union one daughter was born.  He was later wed to Natalie Mueller, and their union brought forth one son.

Eddie had a gift with words that always set the atmosphere with joy and laughter.  Later, his health declined, and he resided in Seminole Manor Nursing Home for the last seven years.  He was admitted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and was later transferred to Georgia Hospice Care, where he transitioned in Donalsonville Hospital.   He was preceded in death by his three siblings Shirley Kelly, Willie C. Henry and Edith Henry Fennell; and special friend Ruby Woodall.
