Edward Wallace Mills, Sr.

Edward was born in Blakely, Georiga to the proud parents of Alec Mills and Jimmie "nee Speight) Mills on December 6, 1937.

Edward attended Early County Public Schools of Blakely, Georgia.

He met and married Betty Graham of Donalsonville, Georiga on January 7, 1963. Shortly after their union, they welcomed a bouncing baby boy which they named Edward Wallace Mills, Jr., on September 6, 1963. After two years of marriage in search of a new start, Edward moved his family to West Palm Beach, Florida where he gained employment at the City of West Palm Beach in Public Utilities where he served 37 years. They welcomed two beautiful girls, Alma Jean and Tanya Renee.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Alec and Jimmie Mills; a sister: Ella Mae Mills Peterson;  brothers: Macon Mills, Alexander Mills, James Mills, Lester Mills; brothers-in-law: Nehemiah Peterson and J.C. Williams; a niece, Sandra Gilliam and two nephews: Jeremiah Peterson and James Williams.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Betty Mills; his children: Edward Wallace Mills, Jr., (Callisa) of West Palm Beach, Florida, Alma Jean Adams (TEd) of Titusville, Florida and Tanya Mills of Titusville, Florida; grandchildren: Simona and Alexus Adams of Titusville, Florida and Raevan and E.W. Walls III of West Palm Beach, Florida; his sisters: Vina Lee Williams of West Palm Beach, Florida and Mary Mills Speights of Marianna, Florida; brother: Clifton Moseley (Joann) of Blakely, Georiga; sisters and brother-in-law: Hattie Mills of Macon, Georgia and William and Becky Graham of Pembrook Pines, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends too numerous to list.
