Elwyn Sylvester Brown

Elwyn Sylvester Brown Sr. was born November 5, 1949, in Jacksonville, Florida.  Hew was the son of Mr. Willie and Mrs. Mary Brown.

Elwyn was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend to all.  He serviced his country in the military, enlisting in the United States Army.

He gained his wings on June 13, 2025, at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Gerryon Ceasor.

Elwyn leaves behind to celebrate his life and cherish his memories two daughters, Tracie Brown of Atlanta, Georgia, and Shonda Leonard of Donalsonville, Georgia; one son, Elwyn “Bear” Brown Jr. of Waycross, Georgia; one stepdaughter, LaTasha Smith; three stepsons: Tyronza Smith (Megan), Tramaine Smith, and Jeremy Smith (Kristy); all of Donalsonville, Georgia; six grandchildren:  Shawn C. Dukes Jr., Tristian Murrell, Tymel J. Leonard, and London C. Henderson; three great grandchildren; his devoted and loving sister, Rise Brown (Napolian); two brothers, John Brown and Earnest Allen; all of Donalsonville; one special niece, Effie Chrispen; three special nephews: Jamal Jones, Elwyn Chrispen, and Joel Chrispen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
