Frederick Douglas Graham Jr. was born in Donalsonville, Georgia, on January 10, 1944. He was the son of the late Frederick Graham Sr., the late Sallie Graham, and Alma Graham. He had one sister, Jo-Ester, who preceded him in death.
He was educated in the public schools of Seminole County, graduating Seminole County High School. Fred Jr. met and confessed CHRIST at a young age. He was a member of Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Fred Jr. worked over thirty years at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers Company/Shaw Industries, Inc. in Bainbridge, Georgia. He retired in 2006. He spent his time talking to people and watching baseball. Fred Jr. Loved people. He was known to some as “Chief”; but to his family, he was “Bruh”.
He departed his earthly life on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at his home to begin his glorified life with JESUS. GOD saw his footsteps were getting shorter, so HE whispered softly in his ear, “Come on Home, MY Child, and take your Rest”. He was predeceased by his grandparents Ellis and Jane Graham and several uncles and aunts.
He leaves to mourn his passing a loving and devoted mother, Alma Graham of Donalsonville, GA; two loving brothers, James Barber of Bristol, FL, and Bernard Graham of Donalsonville; a loving sister, Linda Powell (Rev. Hewlett) of Donalsonville; a godson, Kamel Radder of Atlanta, GA; five special nephews: Bryan Anthony Barber, Ontario Graham, JacQuavius Graham, Romaldo Powell, and Jermaler Powell; a special friend, Debra Collins; and a devoted friend, Jackie Hodge; along with a host of special nieces, additional nephews, special cousins, sorrowing friends and coworkers.
