Gary Smith

GARY SMITH was born March 7, 1954 to the late M. L. and Irene Jones Smith. He peacefully departed his earthly walk on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Reading Hospital in West Reading, Pennsylvania.

Gary was a graduate of Seminole County High School. He later moved to Reading, Pennsylvania, where he met and married Catherine L. Wilson Smith, who preceded him in death. He recently retired from Godiva Chocolatier.

Gary loved THE LORD. He was ordained as a Minister of JESUS CHRIST at the Reading Deliverance Evangelistic Center.

He was blessed with five daughters to whom he leaves a legacy of love: Saneka Parks (Owen) of Donalsonville, GA, Lakisha Price, Kareema Vasquez (Brian), Tara Smith, all of Reading, PA, and Tiffany Smith of Philadelphia, PA. Gary is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; a mother-in-law, Dorothy Wilson (Walton) of Reading, PA; four sisters: Betty Jo Jones, Evelyn Smith, Marene Smith, and Helen Smith, all of Donalsonville, GA; two sisters-in-law, Erika Wilson and Marcie Wilson; two brothers-in-law, Neil Wilson and Miles Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
