Life and Time

Brother Gregory Hopson, the son of the late Eddie Gene Handford and the late Annie Doris Virgin, departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at his residence in Bainbridge, Georgia.  He was born on November 24, 1966, in Donalsonville, Georgia.

“Greg”, as he was called, confessed CHRIST as his SAVIOR at an early age at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.  He received his education in the public school system of Seminole County, last attending Seminole County High School.

In addition to both his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by one sister, Lavara Rainey; three brothers:  John Johnson, Henry F. Bullock, and Eddie G. Handford Jr.; and his grandparents:  Mack Daniels, Ada Mae Daniels, and Ida Mae Parks.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory six sisters:  Lois Bullock (Earnest), Mabel Register (Tyrone), Patricia Smith (Amos), Rhonda Johnson (Otis), Lois Halls, and Debra Handford; three brothers:  Larry Handford (Renee), Timothy Handford, and Henry A. Bullock; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
