A Time to Be Born: Gregory was born January 20, 1959, Early County, Georgia, to Reverend Ezzie Donalson Jr. and Wylene Pitts.
A Time to Die: Gregory departed his earthly life due to Covid-19 on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. Though he lost the fight with Covid-19 in the natural, he won in the spiritual.
A Time to Plant: At an early age, his mother and he moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where he graduated Twin Lakes High School in 1975. He furthered his education at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, receiving a degree in Information Technology. Gregory enlisted in the United States Army on August 8, 1977. He was stationed at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Maryland. During his tour of duty, he served in the Gulf War. He was medically discharged from the Army in March of 1992.
A Time to Love: Gregory met the former Ledenia Sagum. They were married on October 8, 2009. At the time of his demise, the two were residing in Memphis, Tennessee.
A Time to Weep: Gregory lost his mother, Wylene Pitts Etheredge, on January 6, 2013.
A Time to Mourn: Gregory leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Leddy Pitts of Memphis, TN; three children: Jamada Burns, Grenilo Caspillan, and Angelita Orquez; six siblings: Michael Etheredge (Sharon), Marlene Etheredge, Michelle Etheredge, all of West Palm Beach, FL, Regina Copeland, Ronald Donalson, both of Donalsonville, GA, and Ezzie Timothy Donalson III (Arrica) of Dothan, AL; an aunt, Geraldine Foulks; a godchild, Shalynn (Cheng’ Cheng’); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
