Harold Woods was born on December 24, 1964, in Sanford, Florida, to Rosa Mae Zanders-Smith and W. D. Woods. He was educated by the Seminole County School System in Sanford, Florida.
Harold accepted CHRIST at an early age. He loved and trusted THE LORD as his Personal SAVIOR until he was called Home to Eternal Rest, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at his home.
He was employed by the Lewis-Bear Company and Amoco Fabrics and Fibers for many years. His most recent employment was with Georgia Pacific for seventeen years.
Harold was preceded in death by both of his parents, his grandmother Flossie L. Zanders, and his sister LaQuita Fossitt.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Gailla Woods; stepsons, Robert-Earl Leonard Jr. (Bobby) and Marqus Leonard, both of Donalsonville, GA; two grandsons, Jamaris McNealy and Jamari McKay, both of Dothan, AL; sister, Ondria Renee Woods of Sanford, FL; brothers, Emanuel Johnson Jr. of Orlando, FL, and Robert L. Woods of Sanford, FL; mother-in-law, Manora Causby (Johnny) of Donalsonville, GA; three sisters-in-law: Gloria Smith (Billy), Latasha Clark (Trent), and Melba Jones, all of Donalsonville, GA; brother-in-law, Mitchell Jones (Sharon) of Tampa, FL.; three aunts: Myra D. Anderson of Boynton Beach, FL, Annie Lois Grimsley of Colquitt, GA, and Eddie Mae Bennett of Donalsonville, GA; a special uncle, Terry Daniels, of Donalsonville, GA; a special niece, Asia N. Johnson (Eric) of Sanford, FL; favorite cousin, Freddie “Fredo” Davis of Sanford, FL; a special co-worker, Elaine Hall of Donalsonville, GA; and a host of additional nieces, nephews, additional cousins and sorrowing friends.
