John Ed Rambo, Jr.

John Ed Rambo Jr. was born July 9, 1948, in Donalsonville, Georgia.  He was the son of the late John Ed Rambo Sr. and Gracie Mae Rambo.

John Jr. accepted Christ at an early age.  He joined Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church.

John Jr. departed his earthly life on Sunday, January 19, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Mitchell (Fred) and Almetta Rambo.

He leaves to cherish his memories his life partner, Barbara Reynolds; sons:  Joel Rambo, Terry, and Timothy; daughter, Julie; grandchildren:  Carlesha, Jarvis, Ashley, Denzal, Joelisha, and Kuman; great grandchildren:  Ezariyah, Emani, Elaiza, Javaris Jr., and A’niyah; brothers, Danny Rambo and Edward Rambo; sisters: Doris Washington (Henry), Charlotte Rambo, and Annie Grace Godwin (James); other relatives; and sorrowing friends.

 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” – 1 Corinthians 15:52-55
