The love of our hearts, Josephine Stewart, was born on January 4, 1954, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Eddie Mae Stewart and Questa Lee Davis. She graduated from Seminole County High School. She worked at Donnie Mills Sewing Factory to provide for her children.
To everyone she was known as “Ma”. She raised almost five generations of children over the past 52 years. Her home, 513 E Plain Street, was your home as well, if you grew up with her children or grandchildren. Her heart was so loving that she would open her home to those who needed a place to stay, needed somewhere to hang out or hide, or needed food to eat. She provided help to everyone who she knew, regardless of the situation.
Ma was a woman of GOD and a great protector. She was a strong, determined and dedicated grandmother. Most of all, she was always real, honest, sweet and mean at the same time. She loved people, and they loved her because she was “Ma” all the time.
Although we deserved to have her here longer, the time came for her to live on in our hearts, minds and prayers. Ma wouldn’t want us to be sad or hurt over her passing, because we do not have to see her suffer in pain nor crying any longer. Even though saying goodbye is hard, she is now in a far better place with our HEAVENLY FATHER. She raised a strong family. We love you, and we are going to make you proud Momma. Love you. Muah!
