The Late Lee Marvin Martin Sr. was born November 3, 1969, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Lamar Martin Sr. and Lucille Martin. He was the sixth of fourteen children.
Lee attended the public schools of Seminole County, graduating Seminole High School in 1989. While in high school, he was a phenomenal basketball player. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was a die-hard fan throughout the years.
At an early age, he accepted CHRIST in his life at Oak City Missionary Baptist Church. He was a faithful member. His voice was loved by many, and he had a heart for music.
Mr. Lee Martin Sr. was a loving child, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. His loving personality, sense of humor, cheerful spirit, along with his family name, made him a well known person.
His earthly life came to a close at Miller Nursing Home in Colquitt, Georgia, on December 15, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father and older brother Gary Lamar Martin.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Lequion Cooper-Martin of Bainbridge, GA; eleven children: Jakenz Jones (Tra'Lundra), Le'Darius Martin, Le'Quana Martin, Quintavius Martin, Dejah Martin, LeMarquis Martin, Lee Martin Jr., all of Donalsonville, GA, Tra'Darius Glenn of Kinsey, AL, Tiera Adams, Alexis Cooper, and Janiya Martin, all of Bainbridge, GA; seven grandchildren; mother, Lucille Martin of Donalsonville; six brothers: Lamar Martin Jr. (Seyona Smith) of Albany, GA, Jonathan Martin of Norcross, GA, Nathan Martin (Jewante), Lawrence Martin (Jasmine), Eldrick Martin (Maettea), and Daniel Ewdards, all of Donalsonville; seven sisters: Lisa Travis (Arthur Lee) of Hampton, GA, Anita Davis (Ewing Scarborough) of College Park, GA, Yvette Martin of Columbus, GA, Cecilia Martin of Donalsonville, YaShika Martin (Sydney Miles), Sonya Martin (Jason James), and LaToya Martin (Shykeim Sachel), all of McDonough, GA; three uncles: Robert Stewart, Donald Martin Sr., and Nathaniel Martin Jr., all of Donalsonville; three aunts: Josephine Stewart of Donalsonville, Mattie Pearl Jones, and Mary Gray of Bainbridge, GA; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Lee was loved by his family and friends who will cherish his memories. He will be greatly missed.
