Mattie Delores Moore (as "Mother No Weapon") was born July 17, 1923 to the late Dave and Savannah Moore.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a early age where she joined Live Oak A.M.E. Church. She worked in the House Of God as a class leader and Missionary on the Stewart Board. Mattie favorite saying was Rise & Shine and give God the Glory - I Love You and Jesus Loves You Too! Mattie worked at the Donnie Miller Sewing Factory for at least two years, then she became a house keeper for the Stewart's and the Ponder's. She retired from working in 1992.
Mattie was a strong woman, she had eight kids and a host of grandchild in her ladder years. She resided with her baby girl Renee (Lois) Johnson until she went home to be with the Lord.
She leaves behind six children; Emment A. Walker (Edwin) of Tampa, FL; Charlotte "Shell" Everett of Tampa, FL; Lee Marvin Shuler (Grace) of Fort Lauderdale, FL; James Moore of Donalsonville, GA; John Moore of Donalsonville, GA; Renee "Lois" Johnson (Jessie Kimble) of Donalsonville, GA; 11 Grand kids: Sequanna Scott (Randolph); Precious Kimble; Breunia Shuler; Keon Moore; Anthony Smith; Roshelle Leonard; Lashanda Shuler; Kimberly Moore; Preston Moore; Bridgett Hampton; and Danerio Everette; She leaves to cherish a host of great grand kids, and nieces and friends.
