Brother Michael Lamar Barber, Sr. began his life’s journey on October 8, 1966, in Donalsonville, Georgia. His parents were David Jeremiah Isom, Sr. and Mary Lou Barber Isom.
At an early age, Michael committed his life to CHRIST and joined Holy Neck Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. H. A. Washington. He graduated Seminole County High School with the Class of 1984. Michael loved his children, family, and especially his grandchildren. He was employed with Sellers Oil Company and Reynolds Concrete Finishing Company for many years. Later in life, his love and passion for concrete work inspired him to pursue his own business, Barber Concrete Company. He also enjoyed singing for THE LORD. Michael departed his earthly life on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, Georgia, when THE LORD quietly whispered, “Its time to take your rest”. He will be truly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Keylaysiah Jones.
