Otis Cyclean Morris was born June 25, 1942, in Early County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Mr. Otis and Mrs. Geraldine Morris, who preceded her in death.
Cyclean accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Iron City, where she served as Church Secretary and in many other capacities in the church, as well as in the community. She loved THE LORD and trusted HIM until she answered HIS Call.
Cyclean was educated in Donalsonville, Georgia, at the Seminole County Training School. She was employed by City Dry Cleaners/Leon Cleaners and Richardson’s Barbecue. As a hobby, she loved sewing and was a great seamstress.
Although she was never blessed with any children of her own, she was very instrumental in the rearing of all of her nieces and nephews.
Cyclean departed her earthly life on December 12, 2024, at Early Memorial Nursing Home in Blakely, Georgia. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, one sister, three brothers, and one nephew.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sisters: Dorris Tolbert (Percy), Carrie Ford (Harry), both of Jakin, GA, and Josie Morris of Antioch, CA; two nieces, Kiesha Ford and Jamie Ford; two nephews, Percy Tolbert Jr. and Marcus Tolbert (Theresa); a special cousin, Evalina Hutchins; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends.
