Mrs. Ozell Moore, aged 95, died peacefully on Thursday morning, February 15, 2018, at her home, surrounded and supported by her loving family. Mrs. Moore was born February 14, 1925, in Marianna, Florida, to the late Mr. Greene Neal and Mrs. Lucy Neal.
She was baptized and confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined Sneads Baptist Church, Jackson County, Florida. At the time of her death she was a faithful member of St. John A.M.E. Church.
Mrs. Moore came to Donalsonville, Georgia sixty years ago and made this her home. She met and married Dr. Dallas Moore. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Moore leaves to cherish her memory: a sister, Odistine McGriff, seven children: Johnathan Moore Sr. (Shonjala), Ozzie Bolds (Sheldon Sr.), Mary Wright, Fred Moore Sr. (Shirley), Dallas Moore Jr., Lillie Gray, Willie King and preceded in death by daughter Sue Hopson, and 2 sons Carey King and Quinn King Sr., 43 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchilden, 23 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
