A Time to Be Born: Pauline B. Carter was born March 24, 1939, in Donalsonville, Georgia. Her parents were Mr. J. T. and Mrs. Willie Mae Evans.
A Time to Worship: She gave her life to THE LORD at an early age. Pauline was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Donalsonville, where she sang in the Senior Choir.
A Time to Love: Pauline was married to Charlie C. Barber. Later, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Henry Carter, Sr.
A Time to Work: A hard worker, Paul was employed by Quick & Handy, from which she retired. As a passion, she baked cakes that were loved so much by the community.
A Time to Die: Pauline departed her earthly life on Monday, January 24, 2022, at her home in Donalsonville, Georgia. She was also preceded in death by parents; husbands; her son, Ralph Elijah; stepson Flemming Barber, and her sister Pearline Evans.
A Time to Mourn: Left to cherish her precious memories are two daughters, Gwen Jones (Pararr) and Gloria Elijah; one son, Carlton Elijah (Sis); three stepdaughters: Mary Gray, Diane Barber, and Elizabeth Carter; two stepsons, Charlie Barber and Henry Carter Jr.; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two sisters, Willie Florence Harris (Eddie) and Dale Moore (Morris); and a host of other loving members and friends.
