Pearlie Mae (Barnhill) Henry

October 4, 1946 ~ October 8, 2022 (age 76) 76 Years Old

Life and Time

Missionary Pearlie Mae Barnhill Henry was born on October 4, 1946, in Jakin, Georgia, to Mary L. Wilson.  She was raised by her grandparents, the late Bishop and Rose Lee Barnhill.

Missionary Henry received her education through the Early County School System.  She graduated from Early County High School in 1963.

At an early age, she joined Midway Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend C. D. Dennis.  At the age of 28, she accepted CHRIST as her LORD And SAVIOR under the pastorship of Reverend Lewis Henry.  She later joined United Holiness, Inc. under the leadership of Founder/Overseer Aaron Snipes Sr.  She also served as a Missionary at Second United Holiness Church. 

In 1964, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Elder John E. Henry.  To this union were born three children.

Missionary Henry departed her earthly life on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at her home in Donalsonville, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elder John Henry and two brothers Freddie Wilson and Bobby Wilson.

She leaves loving memories to her beloved mother, Mary L. Wilson; two daughters, Mary Cumbee (Michael) and Elder Catherine Williams (Napoleon); one son, John A. Henry (Victoria), all of Donalsonville, GA; eleven grandchildren:  Shantavia Henry of Atlanta, GA, Mykenya Cumbee of Andrews, SC, Diamond Williams of  Tallahassee, FL, Precious Williams of Albany, GA, Celeste Henry, John E. Henry II, Janae Henry, Nevaeh Cumbee, Kristina Cumbee, Erica Henry, and Anthony Henry, all of Donalsonville; three great grands:  Carter, Kenai, and Trendon; four sisters:  Mary “Rose” Wallace, Joyce Miller (Walter), Patricia “Pat” Thomas, and Dorothy “Dot” Wilson; five brothers:  Billy Wilson (Janice-deceased), Jerry Wilson, Willie-Charles Wilson, Loujean Wilson (Tina), and Jimmy Wilson (Amy); aunt, Laura Duncan; uncle, George Barnhill (Debra); four sisters-in-law:  Jeanette Barr, Shirley Melton, Brenda Peterson, Lorraine Cumbee (Rocky); brothers-in-law:  Louis Henry (Dorothy), Jimmy Hansford, Tommy Henry (Ida), Richard Henry (Bobbie), and Sheldon Henry (Katina); special niece, Rhonda Wallace Smith; loving goddaughter, Jewana Lowe  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
