A Time to Be Born
Joan Crawford Graham Lee was born in Donalsonville, Georgia, on February 13,1933. She was born to Reverend Charlie and Sister Beulah Reynolds Graham.
A Time to Be Educated
Joan was educated in the Seminole County Public School System, where she earned her high school diploma. She also attended Albany State College (now University) in Albany, Georgia.
A Time for Marriage
Joan met Reuben Jefferson Lee, and they were united in Holy Matrimony. To this marriage were born two children, Victoria Denise and Reuben Jr.
A Time to Serve
At a young age, Joan accepted CHRIST as her SAVIOR and attended Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church in her hometown for over seventy years. On June 25, 2007, she became an Ordained Minister, serving in Valdosta, Georgia.
A Time to Live
Joan moved to Brooklyn, New York, in 1953. She got a job working. Then she got her dream job, working for the State of New York, where she retired.
A Time to Be Remembered
Joan died March 14, 2025. She left behind a loving son, Reuben Jr., granddaughter, Brittaney; two nieces, Barbara Harrison and Charlesette Graham; three nephews: Albert Sims, James Leggette, and Cootney Graham; and a lot of young folks who will miss her amazing presence and wisdom.
