Sister Rossie V. Scott was called Home Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, Georgia.
Seeing her sweet loving eyes getting weary, GOD reached down from Heaven to earth and whispered, "Come on MY child"; so she reached up and took HIS Hand. She was born to the late Charlie and Evelyn Scott on April 23, 1946, in Seminole County, Georgia.
Sister Rossie was a virtuous woman. She put GOD first in everything. She was a strong, loving, peaceful and attentive mother. She had a very sweet spirit which graced the lives of others and blessed them with a loving smile.
Sister Rossie was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Willie Adam Freeman, Charles Scott Sr. (Vera) and John Scott (Cynthia); her sister, Laverne Shepard; and her daughters: Tamela Moore and Marilyn "Gail" Browne.
She leaves to cherish loving memories of her life her children–one daughter, Carolyn Scott (Ronnie), and four sons: Tony Scott (Geraldine), Vincent Scott (Danielle), Dwight Scott, and Brian Scott (Michelle); thirteen grandchildren: Carlos Scott, Ciera Scott, Ashley Browne, Saiteria Moore, Shaquera Moore, Kaitlin Moore, Brian Scott Jr., Dynesia Scott, Rosalyn Scott, Lisa Harris, Charlie Emmanuel III, Alexis Scott, and Valencia Scott; twenty great grandchildren; three sisters: Martha Freeman, Evelyn "Gail" Scott, and Doris Chrispen (Michael); one brother, Dennis Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, classmates, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
