Shelia Denise Smith was born in Donalsonville, Georgia, on January 19, 1963, to the late Betty Jean Jones and Haywood Lewis. She peacefully departed from her earthly walk on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
Shelia accepted CHRIST at an early age and joined Live Oak African Methodist Episcopal Church. She received her primary and secondary education in the Seminole County School System and was a member of the 1982 Graduating Class of Seminole County High School. Shelia worked at Mr. Pips in Donalsonville, Georgia, and Cooking Good in Dothan, Alabama, for several years.
Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, as well as three sisters: Joyce Ann Smith, Beverly Ann Smith, and Deborah Jones Towles.
Shelia leaves to cherish her precious memories her two daughters, LaTasha Smith and Keisha Weaver, both of Donalsonville, Georgia; three sons: Tyronza Smith (Megalina) of Marianna, Florida, Tramaine Smith, and Jeremy Smith (Kristy), both of Donalsonville; fifteen grandkids: Shekinah, Dredemon, Quandarius, Chevauwn, TraMya, Kahlani, Kamarion, J.J., Ja’Zyah, Chikizie, Kyler, Drayson, Tysen, Beautii, and Kreed, all of Donalsonville; two sisters, Mary Jane Smith of Donalsonville, and Ollie Harrison of Dothan, Alabama; two brothers, William Jones (Angela) of Colquitt, Georgia, and Thomas Smith (Michelle) of Donalsonville, Georgia; three aunts: Marene Smith, Evelyn Smith, and Helen Smith, all of Donalsonville; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends; and special friends: Evy Blake Myrick, Lisa Johnson, Katrina Johnson, Mattie Buggs, Malissa Dillard, Heddy Downs, Carolyn Chrispen, Shamika King, Shelia Marshall, Edwyn Breedlove, Edwyn Brown, and Evangelist Cynthia Sulivan.
