Sonigett Johnson was called Home Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. GOD saw a warrior whom HE knew HE needed in HIS Army of Angels, so HE whispered to her “Come on Home, MY Child”.
She was born to Martha Ruth Harris on July 8, 1966. She was a native of Donalsonville, Seminole County, Georgia. Sonigett accepted CHRIST at an early age at Wesley Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
She was a sweet, kindhearted and hardworking woman. She worked at John B. Sanfilippo and Son, Inc. in Bainbridge, Georgia, for twenty-eight years, never once missing a day of work.
Sonigett will be missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother Martha Ruth Harris, her brother, Phillip Harris, and her sister Mahalya Harris.
She leaves to cherish her love and memory two daughters, Tywanna Johnson of Milton, Florida, and Reshonda Mosely of Iron City, Georgia; two grandchildren, Aubree Smith of Milton, Florida, and Greyson Boyd of Iron City, Georgia; four sisters: Debra Barber of Americus, Georgia, Robbie Johnson, Michelle Harris, and Linda Harris, all of Iron City; two godchildren, Nadia Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, and Allen Harris of Iron City, Georgia; three dear friends: Ricky Mosely of Blakely, Georgia, Benjamin Williams, and Beatrice Williams, both of Iron City, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
