Brother Willie Henry Cox, better known as “Fritze”, was born on August 15, 1950, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to the late Mr. William Henry Cox and Mrs. Mandy Lee Cox. He departed his earthly life on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at his home in Iron City, Georgia.
Fritze attended the Seminole County Public School System in Donalsonville. He was a farmworker for over forty years.
Early in life, Willie met the late Nettie Jones. To this union, two children, Christy Cox and Sonny Cox, were born; both of whom preceded him in death. Later, Willie met and married the former Evelyn Ceasor. Their union was blessed with six children.
Willie was also preceded in death by all of his siblings: Ida Lee, Charlie Cox, Mary Cox, Ella Jean Carlton, Ezzie Lee Cox, and Eloise Cox.
He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Evelyn Cox of Iron City, Georgia; six children: Gerry Ceasor, Michael Cox, Sierra Cox, all of Iron City, Georgia, Stacey Cox (Antonio) of Donalsonville, Georgia, Tonya Cox (Reggie) and Barbara Cox, both of Bainbridge, Georgia; twenty-two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
