Willie B. Fudge Sr. was born in Donalsonville, Seminole County, Georgia, on December 15, 1943, to the late George Fudge Sr. and Jennie Lee Fudge. He received his education at Seminole County Training School. Willie accepted CHRIST as his SAVIOR at an early age.
Willie was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Jessie Lee McCormick on October 4, 1966. Their union was blessed with three children; two of who, Rhonda and Shonda Fudge, preceded him in death.
He was employed at Donalsonville Agriculture Center. Willie worked there for twenty-five years.
Willie loved life and always was the life of the party. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. And he never met a stranger.
As he was joyfully welcomed on Wednesday, March 5, 2020, by those who had transitioned before him, he left to cherish beautiful and fond memories one daughter, Katrina Fudge-Copeland (Keaton) of Tallahassee, FL; five sons: Willie B. Fudge Jr. of Midland City, AL, Rontrez Fudge (Tina) of Jonesboro, GA, Ricky Coachman of Donalsonville, GA, Danny Coachman of Miami, FL, and Reginald Shepard of West Palm Beach, FL; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters: Betty Biggles, LaDonna Fudge, both of Bainbridge, GA, and Annie Hopkins of Donalsonville, GA; three brothers: Jimmie Jones of Athens, GA, Rahn Fudge of San Francisco, CA, and Marcus Fudge of Brooklyn, NY; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind beautiful memories with a special daughter-in-law, Carolyn Fudge of Albany, GA; three best friends: Robert March of Dothan, AL, Jerry Harper, and James Freeman, both of Donalsonville, GA; a beautiful goddaughter, Bertha Jackson (Earnest) of Donalsonville, Georgia; and a very special sister-in-law, Betty Jo Williams of Atlanta, GA.
In addition to his parents, Willie was predeceased by his daughter Samantha McGee, his sisters Jeanette Fudge and Barbara Williams; and brothers George Fudge Jr., Robert Fudge and Edward Fudge.
